Chicago guitarist and member of the Bob Dylan band; Joel Paterson is one of the leading voices in American roots music, celebrated for his effortless blend of jazz, blues, country, rockabilly and western swing. A mainstay of the Chicago music scene for more than two decades, Paterson is renowned for his virtuosic guitar work, deep knowledge of vintage American music, and dynamic live performances. Whether performing solo, fronting his own trio or quartet, or appearing as a sought-after sideman, he brings a distinctive style influenced by Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Freddie King, and many other guitar legends of yesteryear. .
He will be joined by two staples of the UK vintage scene – Jack Amblin on drums (Postmodern Jukebox, Ashley Campbell) and Adam Richards on double bass (Howlin’ Ric, Rob Heron).
The last time Joel played in the UK was in 2016, so this is a rare chance to see this guitar master live !
