Sad News coming from over the pond. Malcom Holcombe died yesterday of respiratory failure after a long illness. He was 68 years old.
A live performer like no other; at times Zen-like, at others quite terrifying in his intensity. Once you’d seen Malcolm Holcombe, you won’t forget him. We booked Malcolm half a dozen times & each show was such an event.(read Jumpin Hot Club book) Off stage Malcolm was a gentle guy. He was definitely a one -off musician & will be missed.
