Getting here
The best way to get to Gosforth Civic Theatre, if you’re not in our local area is by public transport as we are two minutes walk away from Regent Centre Metro and Bus Station. However we are also just off Great North Road/Gosforth High Street if driving or getting a taxi.
Parking
Our car park has limited space so we recommend finding alternative parking if driving to the venue:
Regent Centre Metro Station – this is a paid for multi-storey car park 2 minutes walk away from the venue.
Bulman House – This is directly behind GCT just off Henry Street. It is used by NHS employees between the hours of 8am and 6pm Mon-Fri but outside these hours is free to use.
There is also parking facilities on Salters Road, and at Asda, Gosforth Leisure Centre and Gosforth Shopping Centre, please check these places before parking for any fees and restrictions.

Entering the building
Come in to the building via our new main entrance on the front of the building via our yellow courtyard. You will walk through a small corridor and another door before entering our Foyer. Here we will take your name and check you in. Our bar is to the left and toilets to the right.
Our spaces
The show will take place in our Theatre, but we also have a Garden Studio which forms part of our bar space if you need a quieter space at any point. We also have a garden which you can get to via the Garden Studio.
Seating
Seating is unallocated so you can sit where you like. If the show is sold out so please fill in to the end of a row or to the nearest person so there are no single seats left available to make sure everyone gets a seat.
